Irish band Fontaines DC used their platform after winning a Rolling Stone best album award to call for a 'free Palestine'. The band's guitarist Carlos O'Connell criticised artists at the star-studded ceremony in London by expressing his surprise that he was the only person to mention Palestine that night, before ending with 'f* [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu and f* Zionism'.
