A Jewish Republican state senator from Florida who is running for the US Congress has sparked widespread condemnation after issuing a threatening message to two Muslim Congresswomen, telling them to “consider leaving before I get there” adding “#BombsAway”.
The “Hebrew Hammer” is coming. @RashidaTlaib and @IlhanMN might consider leaving before I get there. #BombsAway https://t.co/0aCRVf39h7

Randy Fine, who refers to himself as “The Hebrew Hammer”, directed the menacing message at Representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar following an endorsement from the Republican Jewish Coalition for his congressional bid.

As someone of Jewish heritage, Fine would be eligible to settle in Israeli Occupied Palestine under the racist Law of Return, whilst Palestinians displaced from these same lands, including families of those like Representative Tlaib who trace their ancestry to the region, are denied the right to return.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has forcefully condemned Fine’s remarks, describing him as an “unhinged anti-Muslim bigot” and calling for increased security protection for the two Congresswomen. Edward Ahmed Mitchell, CAIR’s national deputy Executive Director, has urged both state and federal law enforcement to investigate the threat, emphasising the serious nature of Fine’s inflammatory rhetoric directed at elected officials.
“We call on US Capitol Police to step up protection for Representatives Omar and Tlaib to ensure their safety as they come under increasing threats from anti-Muslim and pro-genocide bigots like Randy Fine,” Mitchell stated, highlighting the growing concerns for the congresswomen’s safety.
This latest controversy adds to Fine’s long history of inflammatory statements targeting Muslims and Palestinians. In 2021, CAIR’s Florida chapter filed an ethics complaint after he referred to Palestinians as “animals” and called for their destruction using the hashtag “#BlowThemUp”.
More recently, after an American-Turkish activist was killed by an Occupation soldier in the West Bank, Fine posted on X: “Throw rocks, get shot. One less #MuslimTerrorist”—a post that resulted in his temporary suspension from the platform.
In a tweet last month, responding to concerns raised by UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, over the “devastation” and “deprivation” resulting from Israeli aggression, Fine said: “Who cares”.

Fine’s social media presence has been marked by particularly inflammatory content regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza. When confronted with an image of a child allegedly killed in an Israeli strike, Fine responded, “Quite well, actually. Thanks for the pic!”—a comment that many viewed as displaying a disturbing lack of empathy for civilian casualties. He has also publicly signed his name on American funded Israeli munitions destined for Gaza, an action that raised ethical concerns about an American elected official’s direct involvement in military operations abroad.

The controversial state senator announced his congressional bid during an appearance on “Fox & Friends”. He swiftly received a “complete and total endorsement” from American Zionist groups and President-elect, Donald Trump.
