The Israeli occupation army has alleged it destroyed over 85 per cent of Syria’s air defence systems during its ongoing attacks in the country following the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s regime on Sunday.
Military officials describe this as “an opportunity to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.”
Israeli air force operations in Syria have targeted approximately 500 sites, using 1,800 weapons for this purpose.
According to Israeli Army Radio, “until just a few days ago, such an operation was not planned at all, especially not with such intense use of weapons and bombs that were originally intended for other fronts.”
Following recent developments in the Middle East, the Israeli military now believes there is an opportunity to launch attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities. This assessment was reported by Israel’s public broadcaster – Kan 11 – and army radio yesterday evening.
Army radio revealed that several security agencies are now engaged in extensive preparatory operations to present options for attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities to political decision makers.
