Israeli occupation forces shot at a Palestinian vehicle in Qalqilya, in the northern occupied West Bank, yesterday, killing one person.
Palestinian sources reported that “Israeli special forces opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle in Qalqilya.” Medical teams were prevented from approaching the scene to tend to the Palestinian who had been killed.
Sources identified the deceased as Mohammed Brahma. Israeli occupation forces brought reinforcements to the area, seized Mohammed’s body and barred locals from entering the area.
Witnesses stated that the Israeli army deployed additional military forces to the city.
Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation forces imposed closures in Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank, conducting searches and raids as they searched for the alleged attacker in a shooting attack on a settler bus near the Tunnel Checkpoint in occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation army later announced the arrest of the suspect, identifying him as a resident of Beit Awwa, located in Hebron Governorate, southern West Bank.
