At least 15 Palestinians were killed, and several others injured, yesterday morning in an Israeli air strike that targeted personnel responsible for securing aid near the Al-Akawakh area on Al-Rashid Street, northwest of Rafah in southern Gaza.
The Government Media Office (GMO) confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces continue to seize humanitarian aid destined for the Gaza Strip. It noted that some relief organisations have been forced to withdraw their teams due to repeated Israeli attacks.
Taysir Muhaisin, GMO spokesperson, said the Israeli targeting of aid security personnel is a recurring tactic aimed at destabilising life in the area.
He stressed that Israeli air strikes continue to target homes and populated areas without interruption.
