The Qatari Special Naval Forces yesterday concluded the “Sea Warrior 7” exercise with their Pakistani counterparts.
The Qatari Ministry of Defence said in a statement that the exercise ended in the presence of Major General Jassim Bin Ali Al-Attiyah, commander of the Joint Special Forces.
Pakistan and Qatar’s Special Forces, from the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces and the Pakistan Navy, have concluded the Joint Sea Warrior 7 exercise in Qatar.

The exercise included training on maritime raids, counter-piracy operations, tactical diving using combat swimmers, fast rope descents and deploying inflatable boats from helicopters.
According to the statement, the aim of the exercise was “to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries in the fields of tactical diving and maritime counter-terrorism.”
Qatar and Pakistan share strong military ties, having signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding to enhance defence cooperation.
