Members of Israel’s occupation army should be worried about the possibility of arrest when travelling abroad as a result of their actions in Gaza, former Defence Minister Moshe Ya’alon said yesterday.

Ya’alon said: “Soldiers travelling abroad should be concerned as they could face arrest.”

He also remarked that stopping the publication of videos from inside Gaza by soldiers and officers would not help, as members of the government are still advocating for the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, according to his statement.

Ya’alon has accused Israel of committing “war crimes” in Gaza.

The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a lawsuit against an Israeli soldier from the Givati Brigade, accusing him of committing war crimes.

According to Israel Hayom, the case was filed last week in Argentina, alleging war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. This follows a Brazilian court’s recent decision to order an investigation into another soldier suspected of involvement in killings and crimes against humanity.

The Hind Rajab Foundation, established in September 2024, examines the online activities of Israeli soldiers travelling internationally to identify content documenting crimes committed during their military service in Gaza. The foundation then submits requests for their arrest.

To date, the foundation has filed lawsuits against at least 28 soldiers in eight different countries.

It has also submitted evidence to the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding war crimes committed by over 1,000 soldiers and officers in Gaza and Lebanon.
