In this context, the president of the World Jewish Congress expressed appreciation for Egypt’s serious efforts to restore regional stability.

Al-Sisi stressed the need for all parties to act responsibly to ensure the ceasefire is upheld, warning that the continuation or expansion of the conflict would harm all sides without exception. He reiterated that establishing a Palestinian state based on the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, is the only guarantee for lasting peace.

President Sisi emphasised the importance of beginning Gaza’s reconstruction while ensuring that its residents are not displaced from their land. He highlighted that Egypt is devising a comprehensive plan in this regard.

For his part, the president of the World Jewish Congress expressed his support for Al-Sisi’s statements and affirmed his keenness to continue consultations with Egypt on various issues, acknowledging its leading role in achieving peace in the Middle East and its efforts to enhance regional stability.
