Rad‘a, the field unit of Gaza’s resistance security, has announced plans to launch a comprehensive accountability campaign targeting those involved in exploiting the war and the suffering of citizens’ to achieve illegal gain.
In a statement, the unit said that resistance security will not allow the hardships of Palestinians to be turned into opportunities for extortion or unlawful enrichment. It stressed that strict measures will be taken against anyone who threatens community security or undermines citizens’ dignity.
Rad‘a called on the Palestinian public to report any violations or suspicious practices immediately, noting that all information received will be acted upon in the field to deter corrupt individuals and protect people’s rights.
The unit concluded by emphasising that maintaining social cohesion during these difficult times is a shared national responsibility, and that resistance security will continue to protect citizens and pursue anyone exploiting their needs or violating their rights.
