Israeli Settlers attacked Al-Tahaddi School in the Ibziq area, north of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley, on Wednesday. They destroyed school property and dug up the road leading to it, in an attempt to prevent students and teachers from reaching the school.
Azmi Blawneh, director of education in Tubas, said this is the second attack of its kind on the school by settlers.
He added that the settlers stole teaching tools and materials, damaged water, electricity, and internet networks, and blocked the road with stones and excavation works.
Blawneh noted that the northern Jordan Valley is facing a fierce settler campaign aimed at undermining the Palestinian presence and depriving residents of their natural right to live on their land.
