The Government Media Office in Gaza said Israeli forces committed 377 violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip during April 2026, resulting in 111 people killed and 376 injured.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the office said the violations represent a “clear and serious breach” of the agreement and have worsened the humanitarian situation, while also undermining efforts to sustain the truce and protect civilians.

The statement added that humanitarian access remained severely restricted. Only 4,503 aid trucks entered Gaza during April, compared with 18,000 stipulated under the agreement—around 25 per cent of the expected volume.

Fuel deliveries were also far below agreed levels, with 187 trucks entering the territory out of 1,500 planned, equivalent to about 12 per cent. The office said this shortfall has had a direct impact on essential services, including healthcare, water supply and electricity.

Movement in and out of Gaza also remained limited, with 1,567 passengers recorded during the month compared with 6,000 expected under the agreement, or roughly 26 per cent.

The office said these figures reflect ongoing restrictions on civilian movement and continued limitations affecting patients, students and others with humanitarian needs.
