Rad’a, a force affiliated with Gaza’s resistance security apparatus, said its members ambushed a group it accuses of collaborating with Israel in al-Mawasi, Rafah, on 8 October, inflicting casualties.
In a statement published on its Telegram channel on Tuesday, the force said its members clashed with the group near Abu Hafez well at a distance of about 20 metres, despite intensive aircraft activity in the area.
It added that Israeli forces fired artillery shells and smoke grenades during attempts to evacuate the dead and wounded from the scene. They also shelled Palestinian homes and tents in the surrounding area, injuring several civilians.
Rad’a said it would continue pursuing groups it accuses of collaborating with Israel. It also praised Palestinians who had provided information that helped track down members of those groups.
