Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf said Thursday that progress in ongoing negotiations depends on the acceptance of seven conditions put forward by Tehran.

Ghalibaf stated that Iran had clearly and repeatedly communicated its demands to mediators, emphasising that negotiations could not move forward unless those conditions were met.

He reiterated that Tehran’s position had been conveyed to the parties involved through diplomatic channels, leaving no ambiguity regarding its requirements for further progress.

The remarks come amid continuing diplomatic efforts to reach an understanding between the parties, with attention focused on the outcome of ongoing contacts and their responses to Iran’s demands.

Ghalibaf did not provide further details about the seven conditions or indicate whether mediators had received any commitments regarding their acceptance.
