The Settlements Council has called on the Israeli government to stop all ongoing European projects in the West Bank until the European Union reverses its decision to prohibit all its member states from cooperating with the settlements or any Israeli institution operating outside the territory of 1967.
The Settlements Council said that the European Union’s decision indicates that it hasn’t changed or learnt from history.
It pointed out Europe’s return to its policy of boycott and discrimination against the State of Israel with the recent revival of the national anniversary of the “destruction of both temples.”
The Council believes that the “EU’s unconditional support for the Palestinians makes it a non-neutral entity,” according to Hebrew radio.
