There has been a slight revival in parts of the poultry industry in Gaza recently thanks to the steadfastness and determination of local citizens. Despite the siege they are managing to make the best of a bad situation. In the very same location where dozens of members of the Al-Samouni family had lived and were killed en masse by the Israeli Forces during their 2009-2010 assault on the Gaza Strip a poultry farm now focuses on the production of eggs, defying all odds and overcoming all obstacles put in its way by the Israeli occupation.
