Netanyahu meets Blair to discuss restarting negotiations with the Palestinian Authority

February 20, 2014 at 3:31 pm

Israel’s Prime Minister has held a meeting with the Middle East Quartet Envoy to discuss the latest developments in the region. Media reports claim that Benjamin Netanyahu and Tony Blair focused on the “concessions” that Israel announced it would make if bilateral peace negotiations resume following last September’s halt to talks.

While he is in Israel, Tony Blair is set to meet with the Zionist state’s Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, and the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, Salam Fayyad. The meetings are being held in preparation for the Quartet meeting scheduled to take place in Brussels over the next few days.
