Egypt’s ousted President, Mohamed Morsi is in good psychological condition and enjoys high morale despite a death sentence handed down against him and over 100 Muslim Brotherhood members, leaders and supporters by a Cairo court, according to his son.

In an exclusive interview released Saturday on a group’s page sympathetic with Morsi on Facebook, Osama who met with his father for 15 minutes in a courtroom after the first session of case brought against him on charges of “insulting the judiciary” said his father was in good spirits and was very optimistic.

According to Osama, Morsi was not affected by the death sentence against him.

“I am not afraid, on the contrary, I more confident about the rightness of my beliefs. The death sentences bring more supporters to the revolution,” he told his son.

Egypt’s first freely elected president is reported to have accused his successor, Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi of working to break our will and revolution.

Morsi conveyed his condolences to the families of victims who have recently been killed by the regime forces or were kidnapped.

“I can assure you that the revolution will restore the rights to all the oppressed, I have great faith in the Egyptian people who will win over the oppressive regime,” Morsi said.

Morsi has also thanked everyone who supports him and the Egyptian people’s aspirations to dignity.
