O Jerusalem!

October 5, 2015 at 4:56 pm

Is it enough for the Muslim nations to weep and beg to stop the blatant Zionist aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque or is it merely a way for them to rid themselves of the responsibility of disappointing their Jerusalemite brothers and sisters who are defending the mosque with their bare chests in the face of their brutal enemy. The same enemy that seized their property and homeland and burned and destroyed everything Arab in Jerusalem, paving the way to Judaise the city, demolish Al-Aqsa Mosque, and build their alleged temple. This would have happened if it were not for the handful of male and female believers who confront the enemy and station themselves at the mosque in order to guard and protect it against the enemy. I swear the woman stationed at the mosque who stood up to the Israeli soldiers to prevent them from entering the mosque and desecrating it and was consequently attacked and kicked is worth the millions of Muslims who are sitting in their home content with watching what is happening.

What sort of indifference has struck the Muslim nation? Where is their concern and pride with the Muslim sanctities? Why haven’t the Muslim – and especially the Arab Muslim nations – taken action to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first qibla, the site of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)’s night journey, and the third holiest site in Islam? The responsibility to protect Al-Aqsa does not fall solely on the shoulders of the Palestinians, or only the Jerusalemites; it is the responsibility of the entire nation and they must protect it along with the other sanctities in the city. The Palestinians have upheld their honour for over 45 years since the dreadful Israelis occupied the mosque and desecrated it with their dirty feet.

Where is our nation? They are merely fragmented peoples who are busy with themselves and their own concerns; peoples who are oppressed by tyrant leaders and are suffering the worst forms of torture. These leaders are all agents for the Zionists in their countries. They were put on their thrones and assumed the reins of power in their countries based on the orders and approval of the Zionists. Could these leaders anger the Zionists with even a statement disapproving the blatant violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, let alone statements condemning and criticising these violations as those made in the past? Not one Arab leader dared to address what is occurring in Jerusalem during their speech before the UN General Assembly, neither explicitly nor implicitly, with the exception of Qatari Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.

But why did some naïve individuals wait or expect such condemnation from Israel’s agents in the region? Didn’t these same leaders do the same in their own Arab countries; didn’t they storm, destroy and burn their mosques? Rabaa Al-Adawiya, Al-Salam and Al-Fateh Mosques were destroyed not too long ago in Egypt and we are witnessing the destruction and burning of mosques in Syria on a daily basis. This is all being carried out in the same barbaric and brutal manner as Al-Aqsa, so why are we surprised? Aren’t they the students of the Israeli enemy who sacrifice the blood, honour and sanctities of the Muslims as offerings to the enemy to keep them in power for the remainder of their lives?

Despite all of this, we will not grow tired and we will not give up; we will continue to shout at the top of our lungs, “O Jerusalem!” until the nation wakes up from their slumber and takes action to get rid of the agents of Israel in the region. If these agents are eliminated, then Palestine will consequently be liberated, Jerusalem in its entirety will return to us, and Al-Aqsa Mosque will be restored to the Muslims. This is promised to us by God and with His help it will be achieved, but after we become a true Muslim nation who performs jihad for the sake of God and we do not fear dying for His sake, but we seek it to please Him.
