Party official: Nidaa Tounes has achieved political stability

Nidaa Tounes has achieved a balance in the political scene, the head of the Tunisian Presidential Cabinet and senior member of the party, Reda Belhaj, said, calling on its members to unite.

“Without Nidaa Tounes, we will lose all the gains that have been made in the country. Therefore the party has to be strong again and regain all its potential,” Belhaj told a gathering of party supporters in Tunis on the 60th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Nidaa Tounes won parliamentary election in 2014.

The party leads a ruling coalition which includes the Ennahda movement, Free Patriotic Union, Afek Tounes in addition to several human rights organisations and independent figures.
