Government raids on Idlib prison, the opposition bombs Al-Nayrab airport

The Syrian army carried out raids on the Idlib Central Prison, on Monday, while armed opposition bombed army’s rallies inside Al-Nayrab military airport in Aleppo with Grad rockets.

The raids on the prison are ongoing, while the city of Idlib is being subjected to a violent air operation by the Assad regime’s air forces.

The opposition also announced the killing of 20 Syrian soldiers during their attempt to regain control of the Zara in Hama.

Warplanes carried out a raid on areas in the town of El-Nagia in the western countryside of Jisr El-Shaghour.

Areas in the villages of Al-Kndh and Mara’aned and area surrounding the town of El-Nagia in the western countryside of Jisr El- shaghour were subjected to bombing by the government forces, with no information recorded on casualties, while helicopters used explosive barrels to bombard areas in the town of Bdama in the western countryside of Jisr El-Shaghour.

The opposition factions attacked Al-Nayrab military airport with Grad rockets which is used by Government forces for providing supplies.

Local reports have indicated the arrival of Iranian fighters to the airport, meaning it will be an increasingly regular target for the opposition forces.
