Lebanese military investigation judge Najat abu-Shaqra issued an indictment on Wednesday calling for the execution of 106 Lebanese and Syrians over clashes with the Lebanese army in the summer of 2014, Arabi21.com reported.
Those indicted include 73 Syrians, 32 Lebanese and a Palestinian, including 77 in custody and 29 fugitives.
The list includes the leader of Al-Nusra Front in Al-Kalamoun Jamal Hussein Zina, also known as Abi-Malik al-Talli, Imad Jomaa and Bilal Miqati, who is accused of killing two Lebanese soldiers.
Abu-Shaqra accused the culprits of joining terrorist organisations, attacking the Lebanese city of Arsal in August 2014, carrying out terrorist acts, killing Lebanese soldiers and security staff, attempting to kidnap Lebanese citizens, burning, looting and damaging army headquarters and causing instability and sectarian sedition.
