Women's March on Washington

“I am my Palestinian grandmother who lives in Occupied Territories’ wildest dream and I am so proud to be here. Justice for all.” Linda Sarsour, one of the organisers behind the Women’s March in Washington DC.

Millions of Americans took to the streets in a march on Washington DC a day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, to promote women’s rights and address inequalities. The Women’s March spread across over 30 cities around the world.
