Saudi Prince Abdulaziz Bin Fahd has been placed under house arrested by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman at the behest of his mother, informed sources told MEMO.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a Saudi royal told MEMO that the mother of the outspoken prince feared for his safety and requested Prince Mohammed detain him.
The son of the late King Fahd has repeatedly tweeted strong criticism of the UAE and Saudi while calling on the authorities to allow Muslims to go and fight for Al-Aqsa Mosque during Israel’s latest aggression against the holy site.
Anonymous Twitter account Mujtahidd reported yesterday that the prince had been detained however it later added that he had been placed in jail.

“Abdulaziz Bin Fahd returned to jail. He was either released then they changed their minds or his return to the palace was for a limited period and for other reasons. He is now in a ‘specialist’ prison and not in his palace.”
