The Saudi Foreign Ministry yesterday denied media reports claiming a senior Saudi official has recently visited Israel in secret.
“The news is totally untrue,” the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported a ministry official source as saying.
The source said the Kingdom has always been transparent with regards to its moves and contacts and has nothing to hide in this regard.
He concluded by calling on the media to ensure news is accurate and truthful and stressed that such rumours and fake news will not be commented on in the future.
This comes after an Israeli official told AFP on Friday that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman secretly visited Tel Aviv in September.
