Egypt: 677 prisoners released in presidential pardon

Al-Mesryoon, Egyptian prisons released 677 prisoners following the presidential pardon to mark Police Day and the January Revolution.

The High Commission for Amnesty granted conditional release to 591 inmates.

The pardon demonstrates the Ministry of the Interior’s keenness to implement a rehabilitation policy, according to Al-Mesryoon.
