Iranians across the country closed their shops yesterday in protest against the deteriorating economic situation, Felesteen.ps reported.

Pictures of shops with their doors closed in Tehran and other major cities spread on social media.

Mass protests spread in the country at the end of last year with Iranians demonstrating against what they described as “failed” economic and political policies.
