An Israeli military court in occupied West Bank yesterday issued a four-month administrative detention order against Palestinian MP Ahmad Attoun.
Attoun was arrested last Wednesday during an Israeli raid to his temporary house in the West Bank city of Al-Bireh, near Ramallah.
Attoun underwent extensive interrogations by Israel’s security agency, Shabak.

In 2012, the Israeli occupation expelled Attoun along with three other MPs from Jerusalem. They protested against their expulsion outside the headquarters of the Red Cross for a number of months but to no avail.
Attoun has been arrested a number of times and spent more than 12 years in Israeli prisons, including six months in administrative detention.
