The Palestinian presidency yesterday warned of the repercussion of the Israeli aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque, a statement said.

It went on to condemn the “dangerous” Israeli escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the escalation against the Palestinian worshippers.

The statement also criticised the Israeli occupation forces’ raid of the Dome of the Rock and their assault on worshippers there, including women.

The presidency called for the international community to “urgently interfere” and stop the Israeli escalation in Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing this “provokes” Muslims.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas said he has been in touch with a number of international leaders in order to put pressure on Israel to stop its aggression on the Palestinians.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced yesterday that he had treated six Palestinians who were beaten at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
