April 3, 2019 at 9:10 am

Israeli occupation forces yesterday arrested 14 Palestinian citizens, including MP Hassan Yousef, during a detention campaign across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, Quds Press reported.

According to the news site, the Israeli occupation arrested the Palestinians under the pretext that they were wanted by the Israeli security services.

One of the men held was MP Hassan Yousef, a senior Hamas leader in Bitonya, west of Ramallah. He was taken from his house.

Yousef has previously been detained by the occupation and was last released a few months ago.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces handed over investigation orders to the head of Salfit Municipality Abdul-Karim Al-Zubeidi and the freed prisoner Hamza Awad from Beit Amer, to the north of Hebron.

Israeli occupation forces carry out daily raids in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem and arrest scores of Palestinians claiming they are wanted by Israeli security services.
