A senior officer of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps warned on Sunday that if Washington blacklists the military unit, the US army deployed in West Asia would “no longer be stable,” Arabs48.com has reported.
“If the US imposes this crazy measure, the American army and other services in the region will no longer be stable,” said Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Jaafari. “If they pose a threat to our national security, we will take a similar step and this will be at the top of our agenda.”
The US has imposed sanctions on at least 25 companies and individuals in Turkey, Iran and the UAE claiming that they had helped to collect billions of US dollars to fund the operations of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
