Shehadeh, who is the founder of the pioneering Palestinian human rights organisation Al-Haq, is the author of several acclaimed books including ‘Strangers in the House’ and ‘Occupation Diaries’. He won the 2008 Orwell Prize for ‘Palestinian Walks’.
