A prominent Saudi cleric, who is a supporter of Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS), said in his Friday sermon that Palestine "is the issue of all Muslims", Rai Al-Youm reported.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, imam and khateeb of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, conveyed: "The issue of the first Qibla and the third mosque – Al-Aqsa Mosque – must remain in the heart of every Muslim."
He called for every Muslim not to "accept conceding or giving a blind eye" to the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque and to support Palestine "even if only with prayers".
Al-Sudais reiterated that Palestine "is the issue of every Muslim" and to pray for it and Al-Aqsa Mosque to be liberated from the occupiers.
The sheikh, who holds the rank of a minister, hailed the kingdom's efforts to deescalate tensions and solve conflicts in different parts of the Muslim world.
