Hamas congratulates Taliban on Afghanistan’s liberation

Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh yesterday congratulated the Taliban on the liberation of Afghanistan from the American occupation, a statement issued yesterday said.

In a telephone call with Mulla Abdul-Ghani Bradar, head of Taliban’s political bureau, Haniyeh said he considered the removal of the occupation from Afghanistan a prelude for the removal of oppression from all over the world first and foremost the Israeli occupation.

The top Hamas leader hoped that Afghanistan would emerge as a “united, strong and prosperous” country after the end of the occupation.

Meanwhile, Bradar expressed his thanks and appreciation to Haniyeh over this telephone call and hoped that the “oppressed” Palestinian people defeat their occupier with the support of God and with the efforts of their resistance.

Bradar also hailed the Palestinian resistance for offering sacrifices in the way of liberating Jerusalem and the land of Palestine.

He called for all countries and all people to stand beside Palestine and its people.
