Former Mossad Director Yossi Cohen shared secret information with an air hostess he was having an affair with, Israel’s Channel 13 reported on Sunday.

Cohen’s affair began in 2018, after he had stepped down from the spy agency. He shared with the woman and her husband, sensitive details of Mossad’s operations.

“He’s a blabbermouth. He started telling me that Mossad was ‘sitting’ on a doctor of a well-known Arab leader,” the flight attendant’s husband Guy Shiker told the channel.

Further details of Cohen’s affair are expected to be revealed in the full investigation which is due to air tomorrow.

Cohen said he never shared any security secrets or any information which he was not supposed to with the couple.

In an interview in June, Cohen revealed shocking details about the operations carried out by Mossad against the Iranian nuclear project and top scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. He hinted that the Mossad blew up an underground Iranian centrifuge facility in the Iranian city of Natanz.

In August it was revealed that Cohen is being investigated for allegations that he had received bribes during his tenure. He also faces several other corruption allegations, but details of those could not be revealed due to confidentiality laws in Israel.

Sixty-year-old Cohen retired in July after being appointed in January 2016.
