The Palestinian Arab Front has described Israel’s demolition of another eight homes in the village of Al-Duyuk Al-Tahta as a crime that must be confronted with full force. The small left-wing faction called upon the international community to intervene urgently to rein-in the occupation authorities.

The organisation noted that the latest crime against the Palestinian people is part of the ongoing process by Israel to expel local residents and pave the way for more illegal settlements. The Palestinian leadership, it said, should raise the issue at every international level to stop the violations committed by the occupation and hold it fully responsible for this and earlier crimes.

“The Israeli occupation’s aggressive policies will only strengthen our people’s dedication to their land,” insisted the Front. “They will not leave their land to the Zionist expansionist settlement plan, regardless of the magnitude of sacrifices that must be made.”

The people will continue their struggle against Israel’s occupation until their inalienable and legitimate rights are restored, it added.
