Contentious footbridge to ‘increase settler numbers’ in East Jerusalem

A researcher on Jerusalem has said a controversial footbridge will increase the number of settlers in occupied East Jerusalem and ruin the historical skyline and integrity of the Old City. The nearly completed footbridge crosses a valley to link the areas of Silwan and Abu Tor in East Jerusalem to Mount Zion in West Jerusalem.
