Israeli artist appropriates iconic Palestinian song to praise Israel

Israeli singer Alkana Marciano has been accused of cultural theft, after rebranding well-known Palestinian song, 'Ana dami Falastini' meaning ‘My blood is Palestinian’, to praise the state of Israel instead. This comes as Israel’s ongoing bombardment of the Gaza Strip enters its fourth week with a death toll of at least 8,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
