The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Israeli Foreign Minister, Yisrael Katz, “is trying to hide Israel’s crime against the Palestinians behind a series of lies, slander and disrespect.”
The Ministry issued a statement on Sunday, in response to a post by the Israeli Foreign Minister on social media that contained several lies, slander, and insults against Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The statement stressed that “Israel’s dirty propaganda targeting Turkiye and President Erdogan, and psychological operation attempts will not bear fruit.”
“Members of (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu’s government, responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza, will be tried in international courts and held accountable,” it added.
The Ministry reiterated in its statement that Turkiye will continue to tell the truth and defend the rights of the Palestinian people to live in justice and peace.
