Former Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane has said that the Palestinian cause concerns all Palestinians as well as all Arabs and Muslims, and is not an exclusive issue to the Fatah or Hamas movements.
Speaking during the funeral of Palestinian journalist Bilal Al-Hassan on Sunday, the Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party said that his death “is a lesson to all of us” that everyone should learn from by reviewing life priorities.
“The Palestinian cause is not exclusive to the Palestinians who have been fighting to liberate Palestine by sacrificing everything including their lives,” said Benkirane. He stressed that the Palestinians today in the occupied West Bank and Gaza in particular, are giving everyone lessons in courage and boldness in defending their homeland, honour and holy sites.
