Israel has killed more than 100 children in Lebanon over the past 11 days, while 690 others have been wounded during the last six weeks of the Israeli onslaught, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced.
In a statement posted on X, UNICEF said: “Children in Lebanon bear the brunt of conflict. Hundreds killed & injured, countless others displaced & all deprived of education.”
It added that it has been working with its partners to provide emergency medical supplies and basic services in Lebanon.

Israel escalated its bombing of Lebanon on 23 September, marking its largest assault on the country in almost 20 years. It has killed a number of senior Hezbollah leaders, including Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, in addition 1,156 people. More than 1.2 million people have been internally displaced.
