UN hears from Palestinian men who were sexually abused in Israel's jails

Testimonies from Palestinian survivors of sexual abuse in Israeli prisons were played out at the United Nations. The testimonies highlighted the brutal treatment of detainees, including rape, amplifying calls for international action against sexual violence by Israeli occupation forces. One of the men described how detainees were stripped naked and piled on top of each other 'with blood flowing from them and into the ground.’ He described how the soldiers forced an object into his anus and filmed the incident on their phones.
