Dutch authorities refuse to prosecute company for work on Israeli "Separation Wall"

January 30, 2014 at 1:49 pm

The authorities in Holland have refused to prosecute a Dutch construction company which supplied construction equipment to Israeli companies for use in building the so-called “Separation Barrier” in the occupied West Bank.

A Palestinian group had sought the prosecution of Lima Holding Company which has supplied cranes and other equipment for the building of the Wall, it was reported on Israel’s Channel 10 television website.

The news report noted that the Dutch authorities’ refusal was made even though “the construction of the separation barrier is considered a violation of international law in accordance with the resolution made by the International Court of Justice at its headquarters in the Dutch city of The Hague.”
