Court backs freeze orders on Brotherhood funds

Cairo Criminal Court has backed four orders issued by the attorney general to freeze the funds of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hisham Barakat filed the requests to the Court to freeze the funds of Brotherhood leaders including General Guide Mohammed Badi and his deputy Khairat Al-Shater; Mahmoud Ezzat Ibrahim, Mahdi Akef, Mohamed Saad Katatni, Rashad Bayoumi, Essam El-Erian, Essam Sultan, Safwat Hegazy, Mohamed El-Beltagy, Assem Abdel Majid, Hazem Abu Ismail, Tarek El Zomor and Mohamed Al Omda.
