This week a report was widely circulated in the Arab press that Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal told Fox news that aid to Egypt would not last forever and that the Egyptian government should negotiate with the International Monetary Fund for a loan. MEMO contacted Fox News, who confirmed that this interview did not take place.
