Khamenei warns of "iron fist" response to aggression against Iran

The Supreme Guide of the Iranian Islamic revolution has warned the United States and Israel that any attack on his country will be met with an “iron fist”. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told graduates at Iran’s Military College on Thursday that Iran’s enemies, “Especially America, its agents and the Zionist entity [Israel], should know that the Iranian people will respond to any aggression or threat with a strong force that will lead to the collapse of the aggressors from the inside.”

Ayatollah Khamenei warned that, “Any person who even thinks about attacking Iran must be prepared to receive powerful slaps and steel fists in return from the Iranian people and the Iranian armed forces.”

The Iranians are steadfast, he continued, “and will not sit and watch the threats launched by the materialist forces of the West, which are crumbling, without doing anything.” He called on all Iranians, especially the armed forces, to maintain their readiness against aggression. “National unity is the most important deterrent,” he said. “Everyone should hold fast to the strong structure of the Islamic regime and give it more power.”
