Ministry dismisses reports about Jihadi training camps in Tunisia

The Ministry of the Interior in Tunis has dismissed reports in the French media that his country hosts two "Jihadi" training camps.

The French magazine "Marianne" claimed that the camps are used by Islamist groups to train fighters ready to go to Syria and Mali. The claims were picked up and circulated on Tunisian websites.

A ministry statement said that the internal security forces, in cooperation with the army, are on high alert to protect the integrity of Tunisia's borders and maintain the country's security and stability.
