A solidarity delegation from Yemen has arrived in the Gaza Strip carrying symbolic support to show the country’s concern for the Palestinians. The spokesman of the delegation said that despite their struggle with the Yemeni regime to obtain their freedom, the people of Yemen will not forget the Palestinian issue, which is at the top of the priority list for all Muslims.

The delegation handed some money to the Palestinian Prime Minster Ismail Haniyeh, saying that it was a token contribution towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Mr Haniyeh thanked the delegation and confirmed that Gaza, which survived the savage Israeli war without breaking down completely, is moving for the liberation of Jerusalem. He also confirmed that the Palestinian issue has been receiving support from the people of Yemen for a long time.
