The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has allocated a full chapter in its annual report to reflect the experience of women in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, particularly their suffering at the time of war. The report, entitled “The State of World Population 2010”, addresses different population issues around the world in terms of migration, development and conflicts.

In a written statement, the UNFPA said that the report will be launched on 30th November at the headquarters of the UN Relief and Works agency in Gaza. There is expected to be a high-profile presence from the UN’ many agencies, international institutions, local NGOs and civic dignitaries.
