Several Middle Eastern Media sources reported this afternoon that the Dubai Police authorities have identified the 11 European mercenaries involved in the killing of Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, a Hamas official, in a Dubai hotel on the 20th of January 2010.

The police authorities confirmed that the 11 killers waited for their victim in his hotel room. Among the 11 there is one woman. The police named the suspects involved in the crime and released photographs of the group, who all had what seemed to be authentic European passports.

Dubai’s police chief Lt Col Dhafi Khalfan Tamim revealed that the suspects were using six British passports, three Irish, one French and one German passport: “We have no doubts that it was 11 people holding these passports, and we regret that they used the travel documents of friendly countries.”
