Israel occupation forces demolish Palestinian houses near Nablus

Houses and barns belonging to Palestinian shepherds have been demolished by the Israeli occupation forces. The demolitions took place on Sunday 10 January in the West Bank village of Tana Khirbet, east of Nablus. Orders for the demolitions were issued just under two years ago when petitions filed by the Palestinians before the Israeli Supreme Court were rejected in May 2008.

Twenty military vehicles and six bulldozers were used to knock down twelve houses and attached barns. The Israeli military uses the mountain slopes overlooking Tana Khirbet for training purposes.
